I am an educated person but I did not know that due to these new rules and cuts my own children will have different opportunities for higher education. I have a child who is on a minimal graduation plan. Today I learned that she cannot go to a 4-year college or get financial aid from the state due to her limitations from a TBI (traumatic brain injury). My son on the other hand is on an advanced graduation plan and will be able to attend any 4-year college/university AND get financial aid. How is this fair?!? My daughter works hard and is passing her classes but doesn't get an equal opportunity to succeed.
